Although it is the general consensus is that Asus is the pioneer of mini-laptops/netbooks, Acer is slowly but steadily established itself as a formidable competitor for the Asus Eee series. The Acer Aspire One AOA150-1690 8.9-inch netbook was one of the best selling netbooks in the past year and shows no signs of decline in 2009. Here is a brief review of this model in pink.
There are only a handful of laptop manufacturers that produces pink laptops. Even if they do, the shadowpink, is always clear that the use of other models. The pink Acer Aspire One AOA150-1690 8.9-inch netbook has a darker color pink. It is not a completely pink laptop as a frame around the rubble, the pages and the keyboard, white in color. The outer casing has etched a light gloss pink with the Acer logo discreetly on one of the corners.
Personally, I would much prefer that the netbook was entirely in pink. But then again, it may look like so that too muchlike a toy. Do not be fooled by his casual appearance as his pretty bellies housing a variety of impressive features.
For a start, it runs on Intel's Atom Processor (1.6GHz) and 1GB of RAM (upgradeable to 2 GB). This gives you more than enough computing power than the netbook runs on Windows XP Home (like all the other netbooks). There is Wi-Fi-enabled and comes with a Web cam for video conferencing. It has a 160 GB hard drive and a 3-cell battery (up to 2.5 hours on a singleFee). For a longer battery life, you can always to a 6-cell battery upgrade.
